Tampa Standley, HR Generalist
Tampa has over 10 years of HR experience. She was the second HR person hired at Internap Network Services when they were a start up and had 140 employees; they grew to over 1000 employees in three years. She eventually helped transition the HR function to the new corporate office in Atlanta after Internap laid off over 50% of the workforce in 2001. Tampa was the HR Manager at Red Dot Corporation a 500+ employee owned manufacturing company where she helped change the perception of HR as an administrative function to a strategic partner . Tampa has worked in a contract role for the past two years working with companies such as Corbis, Merrill Gardens, Adaptis and Mike�s Hard Lemonade where she did a variety of HR roles including compensation; benefits administration; employee relations; recruiting; and putting together programs for fast growing companies to help retain and attract a quality work force. She joined Atlas Accelerator in September 2007.
Tampa holds a BA degree in Psychology from California State University, Sacramento and is an active member of SHRM. In her free time she enjoys playing soccer; reading; and being with family. She lives in Ballard with her husband, two girls and dog Tonka.
